"It's a Peeps World After All!"

It's time again for the Washington Post's annual Peeps Diorama Contest, Peeps Show IV. There were over 1,100 entries this year! They've posted pictures of the winner and 37 of the top finalists. Here are a few of my favorites:

"Eep"

"Creating a Masterpeeps"

"Peeps and Prejudice and Zombies"

"Georgia O'Peep"

"Alfred Hitchcock Presents 'The Peeps'"

"It's a Peeps World After All"

What a coincidence, I was just out buying Peeps, yum. How wonderful these are, love the winner and it's a mini house!!! That movie was so great. Thank you so much for showing these and reminding me about this contest.

I have loved that house from "UP" from the moment I laid eyes on it :). Thank you for the link. I am reading a lot about peeps in blogland.

Look like some sort of marshmallows.

Griffins, traditionally, are Guardians. Often carved at temple doors in ancient times, they were said to guard the way to Wisdom. I, on the other hand, seem to be the Guardian primarily of odd bits of string, pinecones, scraps of paper, mismatched socks, old calendars, homeless imps and gnomes, pencils with no erasers, jokes nobody gets, forgotten gods, keys with no locks, and other people’s lighters. If any of these things might be of use to you, let me know.
